Call for topic editors

Mechanical Sciences invites applications for editorial board positions. As a leading journal in the field of mechanical engineering, we seek experienced and dynamic individuals who are passionate about advancing scientific research and promoting high-quality publications.

We invite applications from experts in areas including (but not limited to)

  • mechanical design and manufacturing
  • thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
  • materials science and nanotechnology
  • structural analysis and computational mechanics
  • robotics and automation
  • artificial intelligence (AI) in mechanical design and relevant fields.

We are looking for topic editors who

  • are junior faculty seeking learning experience in editorial work or senior faculty interested in mentoring junior editors;
  • have a strong academic background and expertise in mechanical engineering and related fields;
  • demonstrate a commitment to promoting innovative research and maintaining the journal’s high standards;
  • possess experience in manuscript evaluation, peer review, and editorial processes;
  • are enthusiastic about contributing to the growth and development of the journal.

As a topic editor, you will be responsible for overseeing manuscript submissions, coordinating with authors and reviewers, and ensuring the timely publication of high-quality research articles.
